With server and monitor removed it's a bit easier to clean up the mess

Cables mounted to a 12 port patch block, DSL modem mounted to wall. 3com hubs changed to a 24 port Linksys switch. 4 port linksys router changed to Linksys wireless router.

Nothing high end or pricey. But enough to keep the office running at top performance

Old server was a bit longer than shelf and had to place board under unit to keep it from tipping

No more hanging wires to clutter shelf and eliminate the chance of any cables being pulled

New server not as deep as previous Dell server but contains just as much and more

Server door opened. Two beige compnents are 54x cdrw and floppy drive. Server contains a Intel pentium 4 processor running dual SATA hard drives which are mirroring themselves.

Cleaner look utilizing the space a bit more

Network was redone allowing for future upgrades as well as wireless network conection

New clean server in place running windows 2003 server

Wireless network is secure allowing only office staff to connect wirelessly and eliminating any security risks
